This hotel is located in a weathered Bauhaus style building facing the beach. Its most distinguishing feature is the massive portrait of Pablo Picasso, which advertises the ground floor restaurant and cafe, the stylish Picasso's. The hotel has no lobby, per se. It is accessed through the restaurant. The rooms are very basic but have rooms looking out at the sea. The greatest benefit may be the free breakfast, prepared at Picasso's, a far cry from most hotel provided breakfasts. The Gordon Inn
This is a hybrid between a hostel and a hotel. Rooms are offered on a single or group (up to four per room) basis; or, one can get just a bed in a group room. The Gordon Inn
Probably most famous for its eyecatching interior and exterior, painted by a former resident of the hostel, the Gordon is well known on the backpacker circuit. It cannot be missed when walking down Hayarkon because of its blue and yellow façade depicting domes, butterflies and Masai warriors (among other details).
