The hotel just a little to the west of the city center is still only a short ride away from the major attractions. One of the least expensive hotels in this part of town, the Asie has an excellent location from which to explore the downtown delights of Phnom Penh. This low-cost hotel in the city is larger than average and is located close to many non-governmental organization offices. The building underwent some degree of modernization in the past, when the whole facade was covered with dark glass paneling; producing an unusual aspect for the front rooms. However, the main areas of the hotel were not touched and walking into the lobby is like stepping back into the past. The good-sized rooms are functionally furnished. The large dining room offers an international menu.

This is one of several small, older hotels on this boulevard, not to far from the center of town. Rooms are small, but cozy. The air-conditioning units work, but can be a little noisy.
